about

I was born in northern Germany and received my first violin lessons from Claus Beigang. I later began early studies for viola with Felix Schwartz at the Rostock University of Music and Theatre (HMT). My formal viola studies took me to Christian Pohl in Hannover, before advancing my studies with Anna Krimm at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts.

Along the way, I was fortunate to receive inspiration through masterclasses and artistic encounters with Peijun Xu, Christiane Hutcap, William Coleman, Pauline Sachse, Roland Glassl, Mareike Beckmann and Petra Müllejans.

I perform regularly with esteemed orchestras such as the Staatstheater Wiesbaden and the Rheingau Chamber Orchestra, and have had the privilege of working under the baton of conductors including Stefan Malzew, Peter Gülke, Stanley Dodds, and Johannes Klumpp.

Now based in Frankfurt as a freelance musician, my deep passion for historical performance practice has led me to pursue a Master's degree in Baroque violin with Rebecca Raimondi – a journey I am currently immersed in.
